Needed for school, good book.
Just what the doctor (professor) ordered.
This book really helped me relate to the world of my newborn son. I felt that this made me more able to understand his development and improved my interactions with him.
Every thing is Qualified .delivery, price.
I remember clearly reading this about 20 years ago after my first grandchild was born. I have friends who have a wonderful new son and I bought it for them knowing it will mean a lot to them.
I loved the idea of reading about a baby's experiences through the baby's eyes, but there was very little insight or new info I hadn't already observed (about my grandchild)or gleaned from other sources. I was disappointed.
It is a remarquable book und shows you an impressiv and new sight on the developement of the newborn child and the babies learning to use his senses during the first year of life.
Easier and less expensive than a trip to the college bookstore. Order to door time was less than a week.
I give the book to every new parent or parents to be. It gives them a very easy to read and understandable view, from the baby's perspective, of what's going on developmentally during the first couple years of birth.
Based on some guys fantasies. Get "What's going on in there" by Lise Eliot instead.
This author pretends that he is speaking as the baby and its ridiculous. He is a baby with a HUGE extensive vocabulary and is also very poetic.
As a pediatrician, I love this little book and have given it to all my friends when they had their first baby. Dr.
This is an amazing book. It tells the story of what life is like from birth to age 4 from the point of view of the child.
Dr. Stern's prose is beautiful.
Daniel Stern is a world expert on infant development and psychiatry, as well as an iconoclastic and creative theorist. This book is a lucid and poetic presentation of his theories, accessible to the layman and full of treasures for the professional.
